I plugged my phone charger into the outlet on the wall not realizing it wasn't working. The only power outlet in the room that worked (that we could physically access) was in the tiny bathroom. He let us in BUT it was NOT the efficiency we booked! He got someone on the phone who spoke English and she told us they would switch rooms the next day and let us keep the key card. So we stood in the hall for 15 minutes until finally a guy walked up who didn't speak English waving a key card. When we arrived at 9pm, we couldn't get into our room, and couldn't reach anyone.
We booked this thru VRBO and received a code but were NOT told about needing a key card. Ownership and management (if you call it that) has changed (we've stayed here multiple times before) and it showed (painfully so).
